Sir Rupert Smith will be giving a lecture based on his book The Utility of Force: the Art of War in the Modern World at 7pm on Monday, the 22nd of February, in the Liverpool Anglican Cathedral. The book explores why military intervention can only be successful if it is an integrated part of wider political and economic processes that lead to peace.
