Welcome to Faith Express
Faith Express is a drop-in space run by the Anglican, Methodist and Roman Catholic Chaplaincies that offers a warm welcome to all students and staff of Liverpool University. We offer free Fair Trade tea and coffee, biscuits and Wi-Fi access. The chaplains are also available if you'd like to chat.
Our doors are open during term time Monday to Friday 11am to 3pm.
We are also a centre for faith information on campus: we offer information about world faiths, local events related to faith, student faith societies and about finding a place of worship in Liverpool.
Faith Express partners with different organisations on campus. We've been involved with charity work such as Operation Christmas Child, Christian Aid's Present Aid and Countdown to Copenhagen and Amnesty International's Greeting Card drive. We've taken part in the Guild's Green Week and Fairtrade events.
We are keen to help students feel a part of the University, to explore faith and to be a responsible member of their community. We encourage interfaith dialogue through meetings with Cathsoc, Angsoc, Isoc, Jsoc, HASA, the CU, Love your Uni and other faith groups, and we have set up tours of major places of worship for the three Abrahamic Faiths.
We are also available to staff members of the University. The Staff Christian Fellowship meets here on Mondays at 1pm, and our weekly breakfast prayer meetings at 8.30 am as well as our monthly prayer lunches at 1pm are open to all members of the university.
